One of the features of a fine piano is its ability to project and sustain a beautiful tone even in the quietest of passages. Through generous use of the sustain pedal I have focused on creating a space where harmonies spiral and blend with a water-like quality to carry the listener on a peaceful and heartfelt spiritual journey. This is my first recording and also the first release on my new label, Sounds of Peace. My intention is to create music that brings listeners to place of well-being and peace. In my experience music is an authentic path of healing capable of generating vibrations of love for one's whole being: body, mind, heart and soul.

I believe music is the language of love. In making this album my intention was to be open to the inspiration of the moment and to quietly sense the freedom of being one with the music. All compositions were created impromptu during a recording session on August 23, 2008 at Imaginary Road Studios in Vermont on a Steinway B grand piano.
